    Coal-bed methane is a clean energy with high calorific value, pollution-free, and a very valuable chemical raw material. Its main component is methane.
     
    In order to ensure the safety of coal mining, the coalbed methane extracted from the mine is mixed with a large amount of air, resulting in a low-concentration coalbed methane with a methane content of 20%-40% and an oxygen content of less than 18%. This poses a safety hazard to methane concentration. Removal of more than 60% of nitrogen adds considerable difficulty to the adsorbent.
